Williamsburg, VA; Williamsburg Landing is proud to announce the promotion of Vonnie Adams, RN, Assisted Living Administrator to Chief Clinical Officer. In this role, she will be responsible for the development and oversight of Williamsburg Landing’s Assisted Living, Memory Support, Adult Day and Independent Living Health Services. She will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be part of the Executive Team.
Vonnie’s tenure includes sixteen plus years of leadership in the healthcare industry with a strong focus on elder care. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from VCU. She was awarded the 2015 Florence Nightingale Advancing & Leading the Profession of Nursing Award. Vonnie was instrumental in the development of the new state of the art Memory Support Building which won the 2018 Architectural & Design Award from Senior Housing News. She is a licensed Assisted Living Administrator, as well as a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She has completed the Williamsburg Landing P.R.I. D.E. Leadership Academy and is a member of Leading Age and VHCA.
