November 11, 2019 -- Williamsburg Landing, the area’s premier Life Plan Community has been awarded a Five-Year Term of accreditation by CARF International. This latest accreditation is the third consecutive CARF accreditation that has been awarded to Williamsburg Landing.
An organization receiving a Five-Year Term of Accreditation has voluntarily put itself through a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site survey that it is committed to conforming to CARF’s CCRC accreditation conditions and standards. Furthermore, an organization that earns CARF accreditation is commended on its quest for quality programs and services.
Williamsburg Landing, the area’s only accredited Life Plan Community, is a not for profit organization offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Post-Acute Care, Long Term Care, Adult Day and Home Health Services. It has been providing services in the area since 1985. “We are very proud of this achievement, there are approximately 1950 Life Plan Communities in the United States and we are among only 15% of those who have earned their accreditation.
