March 22, 2016 – Williamsburg, VA – Williamsburg Landing has appointed Gregory T. Storer, President and CEO, effective June 1, 2016. Storer will succeed Stephen H. Montgomery, who is retiring after serving in the role for nine years.
Mr. Greg Storer has had a distinguished career in a variety of organizations providing services for seniors. He joins Williamsburg Landing from Skilled Care Pharmacy, a privately held institutional pharmacy and one of the largest independent pharmacies in the Midwest, where he serves as President. Prior to that, Storer served as Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer at Eliza Jennings Senior Care Network, a nationally recognized leader in providing independent and assisted living, skilled nursing, adult day care and rehabilitation and in-home services. Earlier in his career, he was Chief Operating Officer of Heather Hill Hospital, where he supervised a long-term acute care hospital, rehabilitation services, skilled nursing, assisted living and residential care facilities.
Jim Golden, Chair of Williamsburg Landing’s Board of Directors, announced “In Greg Storer we have found the ideal candidate who brings a wealth of experience in managing communities like Williamsburg Landing, in healthcare, in leading construction projects, in developing innovative programs and in outreach to the surrounding area. Golden recognized Steve Montgomery’s numerous contributions to the organization.

Steve Montgomery has led Williamsburg Landing since 2007. A well-known community volunteer in Williamsburg for more than 30 years, Montgomery most recently served on the James City County Economic Development Authority, the Board of Directors of the Williamsburg Community Health Foundation, the Community Advisory Committee for Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, and the Rotary Club of Williamsburg.
