2021 Outstanding Service to Seniors Award Recipient Announced

Williamsburg Landing is proud to announce that the Williamsburg House of Mercy has been selected as the 2021 recipient of the Outstanding Service to Seniors Award. The annual award is chosen during Older Americans Month in May and is presented in partnership with the Williamsburg Community Foundation. The Williamsburg Landing Fund was established with the Community Foundation to honor those who have exhibited outstanding service in the field of senior services in Williamsburg.

Williamsburg Landing Names New Executive Vice President

Williamsburg Landing is proud to welcome our new Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, Michael Williams, effective May 17, 2021.

Introducing: the Hans and Brigitte Kopper Campus Beautification Endowment

Hans Kopper was a renaissance man, although he’d never tell you that.

Born in Poland, Hans was an excellent student at the University of Hamburg, graduating with a Master’s degree in Physical Chemistry. That degree, and subsequent training at Harvard, led to a career in Germany and the United States with BASF, a
worldwide chemical company. After BASF, he went on to be president of Badishe Chemical.

Williamsburg Landing Names Chief Clinical Officer

Williamsburg, VA; Williamsburg Landing is proud to announce the promotion of Vonnie Adams, RN, Assisted Living Administrator to Chief Clinical Officer. In this role, she will be responsible for the development and oversight of Williamsburg Landing’s Assisted Living, Memory Support, Adult Day and Independent Living Health Services. She will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be part of the Executive Team.
