Dr. Lakshmi Chaudhuri
After attending Eastern Virginia Medical School, Dr. Chaudhuri completed a few years at Penn State Medical College internal medicine residency and finished her family medicine residency at the Portsmouth branch of Eastern Virginia Medical School. She has 19 years of experience as a Board Certified family physician and 17 years-experience in geriatrics with special certification working with skilled nursing facilities as a Medical Director. As a physician and educator, Dr. Chaudhuri stresses compliance with medications, exercise, nutrition and having a healthy support system towards leading a long and healthy life. Dr. Chaudhuri enjoys tennis, reading, playing the guitar and spending time with family.

Jennifer Armijo, is our Family Nurse Practitioner. Jennifer has a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is highly motivated, skilled and a trained healthcare professional with more than 16 years of experience. Her last 7 years of experience has been spent in diverse specialties and settings with expertise in independent assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of care for patients across the lifespan with a broad range of acute and chronic health conditions.
