The Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra brings superior orchestral performances, innovative programming and important educational initiatives to the community of Williamsburg. Over the years, Williamsburg Landing residents have benefited through concerts, special event ensembles, and rehearsals scheduled on campus.

Established in 1999, the Williamsburg Community Foundation connects people who care with causes that matter in our community. The foundation is a collection of gifts from generous local citizens, mostly invested in long-term endowment funds, which will benefit the community forever. Each fund provides grant-making dollars for community needs. The Williamsburg Landing Fund was created at the Williamsburg Community Foundation to support an annual award to honor those who have exhibited distinguished and exemplary service in the field of senior services within greater Williamsburg. 

Its mission is to protect and preserve the historical prominence of the First Baptist Church, 1776, and all of its artifacts.

Williamsburg Landing is proud of its almost 5,000 acres in conservation with the Land Conservancy and its scenic location off College Creek. In support of the Land Conservancy’s mission to maintain the character and ambiance of this special region in Virginia, a unique partnership was formed. Through this partnership, residents enjoy the annual Earth Day celebration that includes dynamic speakers on the land and waterways surrounding us.

The Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance is an organization of more than 1,000 members, which represents small businesses, large businesses, educational institutions and non-profit organizations in the Historic Triangle (City of Williamsburg, and the counties of James City and York).

The Arc of Greater Williamsburg's mission is to improve the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through community activities and advocacy.

Their programs provide educational, health and wellness, life skills, cultural, social, and recreational enrichment. They also connect clients with employment opportunities through Wheels4Work. Williamsburg Landing is a proud partner of The Arc and host of their annual 5K Fun Run/Walk!

Hospice House of Williamsburg is not a nursing home, a hospice center, or a medical facility. Instead, it is truly a home – a home to care for those at the end of their life and the ones they love most.

Hospice House of Williamsburg is a special place – one of around 50 social model hospices in the country – and one that has served nearly 3,000 guests in the last 20 years. Those who enter the home become family, and they are treated with dignity, care, and respect by a skilled and passionate team in their final days.

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of the community, nobody who receives services from Hospice House ever receives a bill.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at William & Mary is a membership of people — mostly ages 50+ — from a variety of backgrounds with an abundance of knowledge, wisdom and curiosity. We share a common interest in continuing our learning experiences and intellectual stimulation. There are no tests or grades. Members participate purely for the joy of learning.

The program was established at William & Mary in 1991 as the Christopher Wren Association and then designated as an Osher Institute in 2018.
