Gregory T. Storer, President/Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Greg Storer has had a distinguished career in a variety of organizations providing services for seniors. He joins Williamsburg Landing from Skilled Care Pharmacy, a privately held institutional pharmacy and one of the largest independent pharmacies in the Midwest, where he served as President. Prior to that, Storer served as Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer at Eliza Jennings Senior Care Network, a nationally recognized leader in providing independent and assisted living, skilled nursing, adult day care and rehabilitation and in-home services. Earlier in his career, he was Chief Operating Officer of Heather Hill Hospital, where he supervised a long-term acute care hospital, rehabilitation services, skilled nursing, assisted living and residential care facilities.
Vernon Baker, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Vernon M. Baker, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, joined Williamsburg Landing in 2017 from Dogwood Village of Orange County Health and Rehab, in Orange, Virginia. He served as Administrator of Dogwood Village since 2002, where he reported directly to a commission appointed by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange. Vernon is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator with over 28 years of operational experience in senior living. Earlier in his career, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations for American HealthCare in Roanoke. Vernon holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He currently serves as Board Chairman of the Virginia Health Care Association (VHCA), is a member of LeadingAge Virginia and served as a council member for the American Health Care Association. Recently, Vernon was a member of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce where he was named Business Person of the Year. In addition to Vernon’s advisory committee work for Nursing and Assisted Living communities, he was named the VHCA/NCAL Nursing Facility Administrator of the Year in 2012 and the VHCA/NCAL Assisted Living Administrator of the Year in 2004.
Chester (Chet) Tellis, CPA, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Chet holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Cleveland State University and has been a CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia since 1985. Prior to joining Williamsburg Landing, Chet served the senior living industry for sixteen years in financial management, strategic planning, budget implementation, and debt refinancing as Chief Financial Officer at Westminster at Lake Ridge and Harbor’s Edge in Norfolk; before that he worked for six years in finance at an acute care hospital in Washington, DC. Chet is a surveyor in Virginia for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CARF-CCAC). He is an active member of the AICPA and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Chet currently serves as Treasurer for the Board of Directors of the James City County Rotary Club, is a member of YJCW-NAACP and serves on the Board of his homeowner’s association. He has been with Williamsburg Landing since 2012.
Lisa A. Bates, CMD, CMP, Senior Director of Marketing & Sales
Ms. Bates holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Public Management from the State University of New York at Utica-Rome. Certified Marketing Director (CMD) from the International Council of Shopping Centers, Certified Marketing Professional (CMP) from LifeServices Network and Certified Leader in Aging Services (CLAS) from North Texas University. Prior to joining Williamsburg Landing, Lisa held various marketing positions within the insurance industry and later applied her marketing and business development skills to the shopping center industry, serving national developers including, Pyramid Management Group, Prime Retail and Ariel Preferred Retail Group. Her relevant experience includes driving qualified traffic and occupancy, strategic planning, advertising, brand management, contract negotiation, client relations and sales management. Ms. Bates is a graduate of the LEAD Historic Triangle program and is President of the Village Square Homeowner’s Association. Lisa has been with Williamsburg Landing since 2011.
Brandy Day, M.Ed., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, IPMA-CP , Chief Talent Officer
Brandy Day, Senior Director of Human Resources & Organizational Development, is an accomplished human resources professional with 15 years of experience in talent management, leadership development, workforce and succession planning, compensation and classification, employee relations, policy design and administration, performance evaluation, and employment law. Regarded as an objective, trusted problem solver with the ability to work with employees at all levels, including elected officials. Ms. Day has worked in a variety of industries including consulting, education, local government, and healthcare. She currently serves as the Senior Director of Human Resources & Organizational Development for Williamsburg Landing, a continuing care retirement community. Ms. Day has a record of applying her HR expertise to accomplish strategic organizational goals by serving as a key partner with executive leadership. She has been certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) since 2003 and is a graduate of two local leadership programs. Brandy received her Bachelor of Arts in Government & International Politics from George Mason University and her Master of Education in Policy, Planning & Leadership from The College of William & Mary.
Kathy M. Kammer, Senior Director of Community Relations & Communications
Kathy joined Williamsburg Landing’s senior leadership team as Director of Public Relations. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has served two national airlines, USAir and Trans World Airlines, in the areas of marketing, sales and customer service training. Kathy’s career includes her role as Assistant Director of Marketing for the College of William and Mary, Athletics Department and event planning with the American Management Association in Williamsburg. She is a graduate of the LEAD Historic Triangle program and is active in the Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Tourism Alliance, the Peninsula Agency on Aging and New Town Residential Association. Kathy serves on the Board of Trustees for the Williamsburg Community Foundation and the Board of Directors for the Historic Virginia Land Conservancy. Kathy has been with Williamsburg Landing since 2005.
Sally P. Wolfe, Senior Director of Development
Sally holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Randolph Macon Woman’s College and completed coursework at Cannon Financial Institute as a corporate trust specialist. Sally has served as a Trust Administrator for Nations Bank of Virginia (and its predecessor Sovran Bank), Director of Major and Planned Gifts with Commonwealth Public Broadcasting and Director of Development for the Muscarelle Museum of Art at The College of William and Mary. Sally is the President of the Rotary Club of The Historic Triangle, serves as a commissioner of the Williamsburg Area Arts Commission and is active with her homeowner’s association. She joined Williamsburg Landing in 2008.
Nancy Barhite, Senior Director of Home & Community Based Services
Nancy Barhite, RN, Senior Director of Home and Community Based Services, received her education from The Western Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing and attended Tennessee Temple University. As a registered nurse with forty years of experience in a variety of specialties including both acute and post-acute care, Nancy also worked in skilled home health services for fifteen years. She is a member of the International Nurses Association, is a Pinnacle Professional member, and serves as a member of the Healthcare team at her church. Nancy joined Williamsburg Landing in 2014.
Dr. Kathleen M. Meehan, MD , Medical Director
Dr. Meehan holds a Bachelor of Science from LaSalle College, a Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Medical Doctorate from Temple University. She served as a family practice physician with a geriatric medicine focus including as the medical director for kirkland village, a continuing care retirement community in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been associated with Riverside Hospital since 2013. She currently serves as Williamsburg Landing’s full time attending physician.
