Health Club & Spa
When I had bursitis of my hips, the Health Club staff developed a personalized aquatic program for me and in three months the bursitis was gone.— Mary V.
My personalized exercise program at the Health Club has allowed me to swim overhand strokes, which I could not do for years. I also have greater muscle tone, strength and I am able to lift things more safely like my wife’s carry-on bags in the overhead compartment of airplanes. – Dan M.
With any physical problem I am having, the Health Club is part of the cure. When I can keep my body moving through whatever problem I am having, the Health Club will always be a part of the rehab. – Carol R.
I enjoy the variety of fitness instructors at the Health Club – they all have a variety of backgrounds and different points of view and I enjoy that when I attend a class I get a great workout. – Bev S.
After a long spell of back pain I spent two days in the indoor pool walking and it was gone.— Stan G.
I enjoy the socialization and camaraderie at the Health Club, but it’s more about the exercise – I feel fit and healthier. — Kay V.

Resident Services
“Kevin has been so very helpful through the years as I’ve struggled to enter the IT world and now with Jonathan on board it seems to me we have two extremely competent ‘techies’ who are at the ready to help us and for me it is great relief to hear their knock on the door. And let’s not forget Kristin who explained so well the advantages of the Landing package for the Internet and TV.” – Clayton W., Resident
“We wanted to let you know how helpful the Williamsburg Landing staff was in our move. We especially want to let you know about Jonathan. He set up our internet, phone, and television service and went out of his way in so many ways. Williamsburg Landing is lucky to have him.” – Jim and Terry C., Residents
“George and I have lived at Williamsburg Landing for almost a year, and during that time we have scheduled the handyman service three times. Each time Ernest has come to help us make our new home more pleasant. Each time he has arrived promptly and has handled each task carefully and efficiently.” – Joan G., Residents

Transportation
“Recently I arranged with you for transportation to and from Richmond Airport. The three of us riders just want to say thank you for the wonderful service. Darrell, our driver, was just great – such a gentleman – so timely and helpful – good conversationalist and very personable and most important of all – a very good driver! We were all impressed!” – Diane S.
“I can never thank you and your team enough during my two-month period of recuperation from my leg wound, for all of you performed most attentively and professionally. Every one of you was most kind and most helpful. Your associates were unfailingly on time, so that I met my weekly appointment right on schedule. Thank you, thank you! I will never forget your many kindnesses.” – Nash C.
Woodhaven Staff
“As you know, an injury to an elderly loved one causes great concern amid a lot of uncertainty. The compassion, professionalism, skill, and friendliness of the Woodhaven crew made this experience most positive. Let us express special appreciation to the wonderful medical staff, from Dr. Meehan to Nurse Practitioner, Brooke Davis, the nurses, CNAs, and the other support staff, who were attentive to needs, encouraging, and thoughtful. The dining room staff were always so attentive and warm, and our experiences with support staff of all sorts made the experience much easier to address and much more comfortable for all involved.” – Mr. and Mrs. John M., family of Woodhaven Skilled Care Short-Term Resident
Chaplain Services
“Our family is very grateful for your friendship and support during the past few years. We appreciate all you have done for us during the hard time of Bob’s passing. Many people told me how great the funeral service was. Residents and staff have been wonderful. I am so glad to live here at Williamsburg Landing.” – Ann C. and family
“I’m taking a moment to reflect over all the events of the past two months. What a roller coaster journey. Every step of the way, you were there for our family, especially Mother. You’ve played such a comforting role in her spiritual as well as personal life and it meant so very much to all of us that you could participate in the service. We thought it was a beautiful tribute to Dad and a source of closure for all of us. Your comments were a big part of that. We are grateful to have you in our lives and our thanks again for all you’ve done.” – Bonnie L., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.
“My sisters Sue and Carolyn and I would like to thank you for officiating at our Dad’s memorial service. It was a beautiful service and a fitting tribute to Dad. I also want to thank you for taking such good care of my Mother throughout this past month and as she begins a new chapter of her life at Williamsburg Landing. Both my parents, and all of us, hold you in such high regard.” – Jean C. W., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C.
“We are thankful, beyond what words can express, for the kindness and compassion of the staff to enable our mother to pass peacefully in her own room. This was her wish and she was very clear about that. Your nurses and aides, and everyone around her, were so kind in helping her through this passage. To us it was wonderful to see that staff wanted to visit, even on their breaks, to say goodbye to her. And allowing their hearts to be so much a part of their work. So beautiful. Thank you so much.” – Mary and Norton W., daughter and son of Mrs. Mary W.
