June 2026 – The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Service Board presented a donation to Williamsburg Landing’s Transportation team in recognition of their ongoing support in helping make local outings possible for program participants.

The program is sponsored by the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce and directed by the CLS Board, an all-volunteer organization consisting of CLS alumni. Each class is comprised of 18–20 retired individuals who are passionate about the local community, have a thirst for learning, and desire to volunteer. Participants engage with area leaders and community partners to gain deeper insight into local history, economic development, tourism and the military, health and wellness, courts and public safety, arts and culture, education, environment and sustainability, and social services.

Williamsburg Landing is proud to support the Board’s mission of “Discovering new ways to turn insight into action and make a lasting community impact” for local retirees. “We value the opportunity to partner with CLS and encourage relationship-building as participants transition into their retirement years while continuing to pursue education and connection,” said Jan Bigelow, President and CEO of Williamsburg Landing.
